Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Eva Wu
Optometrist
Dr. Wu obtained her optometric degree from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico in 2013. She completed a residency program in Primary Eye Care at the San Diego Veterans Affairs Healthcare System where she received extensive training in ocular disease diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Wu specializes in contact lens fittings, including Scleral lenses and Orthokeratology.
Dr. Wu grew up in both San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico. She completed middle and high school at the Sweetwater school district in San Diego and went to obtain her undergraduate degree from UCSD (Sixth College). She is happily married and a mom to two. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, any DIY project and also cooking her favorite meals for her family. She also started playing golf and loves it.
Dr. Wu prides herself in being a dedicated and caring doctor. She joined the profession with a desire to make a difference in people’s lives, she has excellent chair side manners and is great at making her patients of all ages feel at ease and well-cared for.
Dr. Austin Lee
Optometrist
Dr. Lee is an optometrist in San Diego providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities.
Dr. Lee is a people person and his favorite part of an eye exam is getting to know his patients, he will strike a conversation about hobbies on top of addressing vision and eye health needs during your eye exam. In the years of practicing optometry, what Dr. Lee finds the most enjoyable is being able to prescribe eyewear to his patients based on their individual vision needs, and then having his patients realize what a benefit the eye wear can be!
Dr. Lee’s educational background is culturally diverse, as he completed his undergraduate studies at UC Davis, learned Spanish while studying abroad in Costa Rica, and in 2012 he graduated from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico, where he obtained extensive clinical training in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases, including glaucoma.
Dr. Lee grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and he really enjoys outdoor activities. In his free time you can find him camping at Yosemite, surfing at Tourmaline in the summer, golfing, or playing basketball. Dr. Lee has been enjoying outdoor activities even more as he has his six-year old son, two-year old daugther and wife to enjoy it with.
